There are unknown hostiles aboard taking the appearance of passengers. Giles confirmed compromised. "Sharky" Charlegmane suspected compromised. Unknown total number. Do not go unarmored, do not trust anyone unless you can confirm they're themselves. Hostiles display personality discrepancies that may out them. Status of originals unconfirmed. Capabilities of hostiles unconfirmed.

Well, this is fucking awkward for reasons!

Understood, will be armored and armed at all times, with drone fleet of five on decks. Enough that it can have decent coverage, but still maintain an awareness of what's going on around its actual body.

How are you sure I'm still me?

I'm not. The fact of the matter is if you want me dead there's very little I can do to stop you. Those lasers have me out ranged and outclassed. So either you are my friend SecUnit and you need to know that your loved ones are in danger. Or you are an imposter and I'm already dead. I am done betting on the second option.

Erin, just know that if I am ever infected overridden compromised, I'd rather be taken out than merely contained. Aim for the chest, not the head, if you're ever in a position where you're trying to stop me. Same goes for anyone else.

Well SecUnit, the selfie is a nice gesture but Erin has not gotten fucking eyes yet, you glorious friend-shaped bot.

Understood. Iron nullifies my powers. No steel. No alloys. Nothing purified. A chunk of ore will do. Cast iron or pig iron will do. It can block my enhanced strength and cut through my armor.

She doesn't have to ask about the gesture. This one...this one she knows.

Tell me about it. My murder boner has balls like a fucking Smurf. Wanted to take out the Giles copy. Did not. Cannot confirm that the imposter is not using the original body. Would be very bad to have murdered my friend in that event.

Has anyone mentioned to you that people on this ship don't stay dead when they die, yet?

Considering it is one of my jobs. When people get back up it does matter how you kill them. Normal dead people do not get to bitch and moan about how they died. But don't worry about my nerve. If it comes to it your request will be honored as best I can.

- The possessing spirits felt they had an opportunity to take a body. They may have chosen bodies that resonate with themselves somehow.
- They're ghosts from previous voyages, the specters who've been around the ship.
- They do have the ability to access memories from their hosts.
- They're trying to bring back others they cared about, from their voyages. Or at least that's the stated goal of one of them, but I imagine others may be doing the same. Some were mentioned by name: Sarah and Billy and Traci.
-- Sarah in particular was noted to be kind, to befriend everyone.
- They're struggling with their own memories to some degree.
